Jesus said that the greatest commandment is to love God, and the second is to love our neighbor as ourselves. As disciples, we take our call to mission and service seriously.
 

Mission has been an important ministry in our church for many years.
During winter months, we host an Emergency Shelter in partnership with Love, INC.

Some recent projects have included work with the Crisis House of Georgetown,

Food Bank of Delaware, Presbyterian Disaster Assistance to Ukraine, Rise Against Hunger, and support for kids in, and youth aging out of, foster care.    Our Community Garden shares produce with our congregation, homebound members, and with the Wesley Food Pantry.
Within the PC(USA), we are certified as a Matthew 25 congregation

and as a Four for Four congregation.
