Joys

  • Mexico Mission Team's successful Mission Experience in Chumayel, Yucatan

 

  • Charles Argast, Sharon Lawrence’s dad, made it through lung surgery and the diagnosis is adenocarcinoma, the "best possible kind" of lung cancer because it is slow growing; pray for his continued recovery • Congratulations to Jim Phillips on retiring from his many years of dedication in caring for the church’s buildings and grounds • Judi Stahre is recovering from her recent knee replacement • Jeff Claussen is out and about following his stroke • Jeff Moore, son of Darrell and Vicki, is on 2-wk. leave in the US before returning to civil service in Baghdad • many of us were glad to make Kelly Keeler’s acquaintance last Sunday–thanks for bringing her, Austin.

FOR PEACE, HEALING, AND STRENGTH

Dan Barber, Jr., Son of Dot Barber,White Plains, N.Y. who is awaiting a combined liver and kidney transplant.• Harry Fletcher for a torn muscle in his leg • the Kasperski’s son-in-law, Todd Girven, New Haven, CT, for favorable results from liver and gallbladder scans • Liz Gabel, continue to pray for her recovery from infection and back surgery • Michael Mulrine, broken back and bone slivers • health insurance concern fo 22-year-old Erica in CT, still hospitalized for anorexia • those struggling with illness • those who grieve • those seeking employment

            FOR THE CHURCH

• That the new 8:30 a.m. worship service will bring the Gospel to more people

FOR NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL CONCERNS

• For those affected by continued violence in the world • For divine intervention with regard to intolerance and discrimination that continues to inflict hurt on so many
