Although we do not have a lot of children in our congregation currently, GPC has a long history of sponsoring quality children's programing. The community Bible school held on our grounds each summer attracts over 100 children, youth and adults! During the summer months, we also sponsor our WedneDay Camp for elementary children.
On Sundays, our elementary children participate in the Workshop Rotation Educational Ministry. In WR, they study the bible responding and learning through the use of drama, storytelling, technology, and worship. During the month of February 2007, the children and their leaders will be looking at the books that make up the Bible. In March, they will begin a Lenten Study.
The Sunday Morning Educational "hour" begins at 9:00 and dismisses 9:45. We have classes for ages nursery through Sr. Highs. During the Educational Hour, adults not helping with classes gather in the library for a discussion of the biblical passages that will be read in the morning worship service.
